Stéphanie LE GALLIC

In 2014, Stéphanie Le Gallic defended her thesis on the history of illuminated advertising in Paris, London and New York since the end of the nineteenth century (directed by Pascal Griset, Paris-Sorbonne), and won the doctoral thesis award of the Comité des travaux historiques et scientifiques (CTHS). She addresses very broad subjects such as the globalization of communication, along with the processes of technological appropriation and the circulation of knowledge. She is currently in a post-doctoral position at the Institut des sciences de la communication of the CNRS (ISCC), where she is putting her expertise to use for the history of advertising as part of the Web90 project.
