Stefan SCHOLL

Stefan Scholl got his MA in history from the universities of Bielefeld (Germany) and Paris 7 – Denis Diderot in 2006 and 2007. From 2008 to 2012, he was research assistant and PhD student in history at the University of Bielefeld within the research group “The Political as Communicative Space in History”. In 2014, he obtained his PhD in history with a dissertation on the boundary-setting discourse between “economy” and “politics” in the twentieth century. From 2012 to 2017, he worked as research assistant in contemporary European history at the University of Siegen (Germany). Since 2018, he is research assistant at the Institute for German language (Institut für deutsche Sprache) in Mannheim within a research project on language during National Socialism. His main research interests are the history of economic discourses, the history of European sport, the history of biopolitics and sport, the history of communication during National Socialism.
