Élodie JAUNEAU
Élodie Jauneau holds a PhD in Contemporary History. In 2011, she defended a thesis entitled La féminisation de l’armée française pendant les guerres (1938-1962): enjeux et réalités d’un processus irréversible, directed by Gabrielle Houbre at the University Paris-Diderot. She is the author of numerous articles on gender seen through the prisms of war, violence, feminine memory, or decolonization, for journals such as Clio. Femmes, Genre, Histoire, Sextant, Nouvelles Études francophones, or French Colonial History.
After dedicating ten years to research and the history of women and gender, she became a parliamentary assistant in 2014.
