Alessandro SETTE

Alessandro Sette is an independent researcher. He graduated with honors in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Bari in 2007 and earned a postgraduate diploma in Diplomatic Studies at the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI) in 2008. Dr. Sette obtained his PhD in Modern and Contemporary History of Europe at the University of Bari in 2013. Between 2014 and 2016, he was Honorary Fellow in History of Treaties and International Politics at the University of Bari. Dr. Sette’s research activity is mainly focused on late-19th and early-20th centuries Italian Foreign Policy towards the Balkans (primarily Albania, Yugoslavia, and Greece) and Great Powers’ oil diplomacy from WWI to WWII.
