Andrea RAPINI

Andrea Rapini is a professor of contemporary history and social history at the University of Bologna, Department of Sociology and Business Law. His research focuses on the history and remembrance of anti-fascism (L’antifascismo. Una tradizione generativa (1861-2025), Rome: Donzelli, 2025, the history of knowledge (Administrative Science in the Italian State from Liberalism to Fascism. A Social History, London: Palgrave Macmillan, 2022) and industrial history (The History of the Vespa: An Italian Miracle, London, New York: Routledge, 2019). He also edited, with Franz Schultheis and Christine Frisinghelli, the Italian edition of a book of photographs taken by Pierre Bourdieu in Algeria during the War of Independence (In Algeria. Immagini dello sradicamento, Rome: Carocci, 2012).
