Antonin DURAND

Antonin Durand is a graduate of l’École normale supérieure, as well as the holder of an agrégation and a doctorate in modern history. Since 2018 he has served as the scientific coordinator for the “Global” department of IC Migrations, and as the editorial manager for the “Migrations” research area of the EHNE encyclopedia. After completing a dissertation on the links between science and politics in nineteenth-century Italy through the example of mathematicians (La quadrature du cercle. Les mathématiciens italiens et la vie parlementaire. 1848-1913, Paris, Éditions rue d’Ulm, 2018), he broadened his analyses to the history of scholarly circulations (student mobility) and constraints (political refugees).
