Béatrice DE GASQUET

A former student of l’École normale supérieure and the holder of an agrégation in economic and social sciences, Béatrice de Gasquet is Associate Professor of Sociology at l’université Paris Diderot. Her research has focused in particular on questions of gender and ritual in French Judaism, as well as religious feminisms. She wrote the entry for “Religion” in the Encyclopédie critique du genre (edited by Juliette Rennes, La Découverte, 2016), and is the author of “Quels espaces pour les féminismes religieux ?”, Nouvelles Questions féministes (2019).
