Benoît DAUVERGNE

Benoît Dauvergne has been a doctoral student in art history at the Paris Sorbonne University since 2013. After a Master’s thesis dedicated to the religious painting of Simon Vouet, he wrote a thesis supervised by Alain Mérot entitled “Images et imaginaire des Ordres du Roi. 1578-1791.” He is simultaneously conducting research on the history of art history (Mâle, Thuillier, Bonnefoy...).
