Delphine PEIRETTI-COURTIS

Delphine Peiretti-Courtis is the holder of an agrégation and doctorate in history, an instructor at Université d’Aix-Marseille, and a member of the TELEMMe laboratory. Her research focuses on the construction of racial and sexual stereotypes relating to black bodies in medical literature (from the late eighteenth to the mid-twentieth century). Her book, entitled Corps noirs et médecins blancs. La fabrique du préjugé racial, was published by Éditions La Découverte in February 2021.
