Emmanuelle BERTHIAUD

Emmanuelle Berthiaud is the holder of an agrégation in early modern and modern history. She currently serves as a PRAG Instructor at l’université de Picardie Jules Verne, is a member of the CHSSC (Amiens), and is the editor of the “Figures du social. Histoire, Identités, interactions” collection at the publisher Le Manuscrit. Her research focuses on the history of the body and medicine, the history of women and gender, along with the history of maternity and childhood. She is the author of: Enceinte, une histoire de la grossesse entre art et société (Paris: La Martinière, 2013) and, with Scarlett Beauvalet-Boutouyrie, Le rose et le bleu. La fabrique du féminin et du masculin (Paris: Belin, 2015).
