Florence CARPENTIER

Florence Carpentier has been Associate Professor at l’université de Rouen since 2004, where she teaches the history of sport at l’INSPé and UFR STAPS. She studies the history of sport and its leadership elite as part of the Center for the Study of Transformations in Physical and Sports Activities (EA 3837). She is currently on a four-year provisional assignment as a senior researcher at l’université de Lausanne, and is contributing to a project financed by the Swiss National Fund on the prosopography of directors at the International Olympic Committee, a little-known transnational elite.
