Gabriel GALVEZ-BEHAR

Gabriel Galvez-Behar is a Professor at Université de Lille whose research focuses on the history of innovation, as well as its intersection with economic history and the history of science and technology. His research on the history of the valorization of research and scientific property culminated with his completion of an Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR) degree. He is a member of the Septentrion Historical Research Institute (UMR CNRS/Lille 38 529), and contributes to its “Innovations” research focus. He is also the co-editor-in-chief of the journal Entreprises et histoire, as well as an honorary member of the University Institute of France. He became Dean of the Faculty of Humanities on July 1, 2019.
