Grégory QUIN

Grégory Quin is the holder of a doctorate in physical education and sports from l’université de Lausanne, a doctorate in education from l’université Paris Descartes, and is a former researcher with the International Centre for Sports History and Culture at De Monfort University in Leicester, England. He currently serves as a Lecturer in Sports History with l’Institut des sciences du sport at l’université de Lausanne, where he conducts research on the history of sport in Switzerland during the twentieth century. More broadly, he is a specialist in the history of bodily exercise practices during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with his research leading to work on the history of international football during the twentieth century, and more recently on the history of rhythmic gymnastics and skiing.
