Guillaume BLANC

Guillaume Blanc is an Associate Professor at Université Rennes 2. He studied at the Canada Research Chair in Environmental History, and works on the circulations of experts and knowledge in connection with the global government of nature and humans in contemporary Africa.

He directs the “Environmental history” collection at the Éditions de la Sorbonne, where he notably published Une histoire environnementale de la nation (2015), and co-edited Humanités environnementales. Enquêtes et contre-enquêtes (2017).

In 2020, Guillaume Blanc also published, with Flammarion, L’invention du colonialisme vert. Pour en finir avec le mythe de l’Éden africain.
