Jan SYNOWIECKI

Jan Synowiecki is an associate professor of modern history at the University of Caen - Normandy. A former student of ENS Ulm with an advanced teaching degree (agrégation) in history and a Ph.D. in History and Civilizations from EHESS, his research focuses on environmental history in the modern era. His publications include Paris en ses jardins. Nature et culture urbaine dans Paris au xviiie siècle (Paris in Its Gardens: Nature and Urban Culture in 18th-Century Paris), Ceyzérieux, Champ Vallon, 2021.
