Jean-Baptiste DELZANT

Jean-Baptiste Delzant is Associate Professor of Medieval History at l’université d’Aix-Marseille (AMU-CNRS UMR 7298 LA3M). His research focuses on urban Italy of the late Middle Ages, especially its social, political, and cultural aspects. He is the author of “Magnificus dominus.” Pouvoir, art et culture dans les seigneuries d’Italie centrale à la fin du Moyen Âge (forthcoming), and organized, along with Élisabeth Crouzet-Pavan and Clémence Revest, the international conference entitled Pantheons of the Renaissance. Representation of Great Men and Mythology of the Present Time (Italie/Europe, 1300-1700), which was held in 2018 in Rome (proceedings forthcoming).
