Jean-Paul BLED

Jean-Paul Bled is Professor Emeritus at Sorbonne Université, where he held the Chair of the History of Contemporary Germany and Germanic Worlds. He has also edited journals including Revue d’Allemagne et des pays de langue allemande, Revue d’Europe centrale, and Études danubiennes. A Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur and recipient of many prizes, he is a member of numerous committees and foundations, and sits on the Scienctific Council of the Fondation Charles-de-Gaulle. His works include: Bismarck (Paris: Perrin, 201);  François-Ferdinand d’Autriche (Paris: Tallandier, 2012); and L’agonie d’une monarchie. Autriche-Hongrie 1914-1920 (Paris: Tallandier, 2014).
