Karel VAN NIEUWENHUYSE

Karel Van Nieuwenhuyse has a PhD in history, and is currently associate professor in History Didactics, at the University of Leuven (Belgium). Main research interests related to history education: the position of the present, the use of historical sources, the link historical narratives – identification, the connection historical thinking – civic attitudes, and representations of the colonial past.
