Katja DOOSE
Katja Doose is a postdoctoral researcher at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales at the Centre for Russian, Caucasian and Central Europeen studies (CERCEC). Her research focuses on the history of climate research in Russia and the Soviet Union and Russian understandings of human impacts on the Earth's system. In a next project at the University of Fribourg (2021-2025) she will be exploring the history of glaciology in the Soviet Union. She is the author of Tectonics of the Perestroika. The 1988 Armenian Earthquake and the re-ordering processes, Böhlau Publishing House 2019, which is based on her PhD dissertation.
