Laurence BADEL
An Alumna of the École normale supérieure de la rue d’Ulm, Laurence Badel is a professor of the history of international relations at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a member of the Institut Pierre Renouvin and UMR-8138-SIRICE. She also teaches at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. Her research includes the history of Europeanist circles from the 1920s to the 1950s, and the rise of inter-regionalisms between Europe and Asia since the 1970s; the history of economic diplomacies; and the history of modern diplomatic practices (nineteenth-twenty-first century). She is a member of the editorial boards of Relations internationales, Monde(s). Histoire, espaces, relations, Diplomacy and Statecraft, Diplomatica,The Hague Journal of Diplomacy.
