Pierre-Ange SALVADORI

A graduate of the University of Cambridge and l’École normale supérieure, Pierre-Ange Salvadori is a teaching and doctoral research fellow in early modern history at Sorbonne Université, and a former Knox scholar at Trinity College (Cambridge). His research on sixteenth-century Sweden in addition to geographical and humanist knowledge led to the publication of Le Nord de la Renaissance. La carte, l’humanisme suédois et la genèse de l’Arctique (Paris, Classiques Garnier, 2021). His dissertation, under the co-supervision of Denis Crouzet and Caroline Callard (EHESS), focuses on secret knowledge during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
