Pierre SINGARAVÉLOU

Pierre Singaravélou is Professor of Modern History at the University of Paris 1, a researcher in the Sirice laboratory, and member of the Institut universitaire de France. He works on the history of colonial empires in Asia during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

He has published, among others: Les empires coloniaux xix^e-xx^e siècles (Seuil, 2013), Atlas des empires coloniaux (with J-F. Klein and M.-A. de Suremain, Autrement, 2012), Professer l’Empire.
