Stéphanie SOUBRIER

Stéphanie Soubrier is a postdoctoral fellow at l’EHNE and an associate researcher at the Center for 19th-Century History (université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne). She is the author of a dissertation entitled “‘Races guerrières’ : armée, science et politique dans l’empire colonial français (des années 1850 à 1918)” (forthcoming from CNRS Éditions). Her work focuses on the social and cultural history of colonization, as well as gender history and the history of race in a colonial context.
