Thomas PREVERAUD
Thomas Preveraud is Associate Professor in the history of mathematics at l’université d’Artois and l’ESPE Lille-Nord-France. His research focuses on the circulation of mathematical knowledge, especially the material and intellectual processes of their appropriation in the educational and professional contexts of the modern era. He is an associate member of the Centre de recherche en histoire internationale et atlantique at l’université de Nantes, as well as an associate member of the Groupe d’histoire des sciences de l’université d’Orsay. He recently collaborated in a global history of the teaching of descriptive geometry in Évelyne Barbin, Marta Menghini, Klaus Volkert (eds.), Descriptive Geometry, The Spread of a Polytechnic Art (Cham: Springer, 2019).
